With a focus on a people first culture, growth opportunities, and supporting local communities we set the stage for a meaningful career in educational facilities nationwide.Job SummarySummary : Performs a variety of skilled maintenance duties related to the facility's engineering and maintenance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities May Include : Install compressed air piping systems according to blueprints and specifications.Determining optimal routing for the pipes, selecting appropriate materials, and installing piping to convey compressed air efficiently and safely.Choose suitable piping materials based on factors such as materials, air pressure requirements, flow rate, environmental conditions, and compatibility with compressed airConsiderations may include the distance between the compressor and end-use equipment, pressure drop, and potential obstructions.Ensure proper anchoring to walls, ceilings, or structural supports as necessaryApply sealants, tape, or thread compounds to ensure airtight connections and prevent leaksConduct pressure tests on installed piping systems to verify integrity and identify any leaks or weaknessesPerform adjustments or repairs as necessary to achieve complianceAdhere to safety protocols and regulations throughout the installation process, including proper handling of tools and equipment, use of personal protective gear, and precautions against hazards.Maintain accurate records of materials used, installation procedures, pressure test results, and any modifications or repairs made to the piping system. Provide documentation to clients or project managers upon completion of the installationCoordinate closely with compressor technicians, electricians, and equipment installers, to ensure seamless integration of the compressed air piping system.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications May Include : Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.Familiarity with relevant building codes, industry standards, and safety regulationsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsPhysical fitness and agility to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and working in confined spacesValid driver's license.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and sales techniquesEnhance your quality of life through our comprehensive benefits :
