Compass Group, North America is seeking a highly motivated Catering Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences at scheduled functions.
Job Summary
This role requires a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to ensure seamless execution of all events during your shift. You may also drive a catering delivery truck as part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean the location after each event.
- Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to the catering facility.
- Distribute and collect customer comment cards for catered functions.
- Stock, clean and maintain the catering facility and equipment.
Requirements:
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
