What are the responsibilities and job description for the catering attendant position at Compass Group, North America?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Catering Attendant to join our team at the Babson Executive Conference Center. As an on-call CATERING ATTENDANT, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Your duties will include assembling and delivering all food and supplies, logging and maintaining food temperatures, arranging tables and decorations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
- Log and maintain food temperatures.
- Arrange tables and decorations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests.
- Clean the location after each event.
To succeed in this role, you should have previous customer service and catering experience. A valid driver's license may be required, and you must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by state law.
