The Role
This full-time position involves operating the Point of Sale system, assisting the Chef, preparing coffee, and maintaining cleanliness in the cash and coffee areas.
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
- POS Operations: Performs cashier duties using the POS system, maintains cash accuracy with receipts, and makes deposits at the end of each shift
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Performs general cleaning duties, removes trash and garbage to designated areas, and keeps refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule
- Customer Service: Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving, sets up items for purchase on a daily basis, and serves hot and cold items to customers
- Inventory Management: Inventories and restocks supplies and food products, records replenished amounts on floor stock form for each unit, and records refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
