Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily culinary production in preparation and presentation of meals
- Develop and implement menus that meet client requirements
- Control food costs and labor expenses
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation
Requirements:
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
- Extensive catering experience a plus
- High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
- Institutional and batch cooking experiences
- Hands-on chefs experience a must
- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends
- Must be experienced with computers and software applications
