**Job Title: Lead Cashier**
We are hiring immediately for a full-time Lead Cashier position at Lincoln Memorial University.
This role is responsible for maintaining guest services in accordance with company standards, expediting guest transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction at the service desk. The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen supervisory experience and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and acknowledge every guest, maintain solid product knowledge, and provide outstanding guest service.
- Oversee and authorize guest returns, exchanges, merchandise credits, check authorization, charge sends, rain checks, and discretion discounts.
- Help train cashiers and crosstrains other associates.
- Prepare daily deposits, change, and media; some locations have access to safe combinations and keys.
- Maintain front-end supplies and ensure compliance of company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Cover cashier shifts when call-offs occur.
