Job Summary This Bench position will provide management support to new and existing SSC accounts in K-12 or higher education settings. Travel is required and can be significant to include overnights. Ideal candidates will be open to relocating to areas outside of Atlanta, GA. Working as a Director of Facilities, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling functions and activities of plant operations and building renovations in the K-12 or higher education systems. This role requires full-service experience - custodial, grounds, maintenance, and construction.Key Responsibilities : Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies, and proceduresMonitors flow and quality of work to ensure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility's standards and regulations using computerized programs for preventive and corrective maintenance, construction projects, financial management, and energy controlsPrepares and leads departmental budgets, including the utility energy savings programProvides guidance, training, and motivation to staffEffectively provides effective client rapportMonitors work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnelPreferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience preferredMinimum of 5 years of maintenance experience at the Director or Assistant Director level requiredExperience in construction management preferredApply to SSC todaySSC is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
