In this role you will ensure successful delivery of all services for meetings and conferences by coordinating with clients, vendors and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Interaction: Answer telephones and manage reservations with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Database Management: Track and update client information in the database accurately.
- Event Planning: Oversee planning and coordination of events in the conference center, ensuring all details are meticulously managed.
- Cross-Department Communication: Facilitate effective communication with Conference Services, Catering, and Audio Visual teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Room Preparation: Inspect conference rooms before client arrival, ensuring they meet customer standards.
- Audio Visual Coordination: Ensure all AV equipment is set up according to client specifications.
- Client Liaison: Finalize planning details with clients and distribute information to relevant departments.
- Business Center Services: Provide business center services as requested by clients.
- Reporting: Run end-of-day reports to summarize activities and outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of planning experience in the hospitality industry.
- Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate and adapt to changes in the business environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with industry trends and share insights with the team.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
