Job SummaryAs an Environmental Services Manager, you will lead and supervise the operational needs of the EVS department. You will coordinate and prep associates tasks, assist in training and development, ensure a high level of cleanliness is attained, and serve as a liaison between administration and unit departments providing the highest possible level of service. Sacred Heart hospital is a 554 bed children's and adult hospital. This is a hands-on management role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Coordinates environmental services and housekeeping activities with other departmentsLeads, trains, manages, and develops a team of about 30-40 associates demonstrating quality leadership in meeting performance plansPlans, organizes, directs, and supervises functions and activities of the departmentEstablishes work standards and work flow and implements policies and proceduresEncourages and mentors staff creativity and innovationEnsures compliance with all regulatory agencies and is proactive in the achievement of the facility goals and objectivesReads, develops, and coordinates the Total Quality Management processResponsible for department's financial data and statistics and monitoring of unit expendituresAdditional duties as assigned Qualifications : We are willing to train; the ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, hospitable approach, drive, and initiative for quality and customer serviceMust have healthcare experience preferably in a hospital environmentEnvironmental services, housekeeping, hospitality, support services, military, and / or facilities experience1 years of lead, supervisory, or management experienceGood written and verbal communication skills, organization skills, management skills, and the ability to delegate efficientlyProblem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situationsUnderstanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss conceptsExcellent administrative and organizational skills, and prioritizingAbility to function appropriately under stressful conditionsCRCST or other applicable sterile processing certifications are a plusProficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internetApply to TouchPoint todayTouchPoint is a member of Compass Group USAClick here to Learn More about the Compass StoryCompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
