What You'll Do:
- Providing group therapy to patients in a safe and therapeutic milieu
- Assessing patients on daily basis for safety, ADLs, and mental status
- Developing effective therapeutic group relationships that promote positive change in patients
- Utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to inform facilitation of group therapy sessions
- Provide milieu-based Exposure Prevention Therapy and attend additional training on ERP (on-site training will be provided)
- Relaying relevant clinical information from group sessions to treatment team during rounds and as needed
- Providing safety checks with safety plan as needed and crisis intervention as needed
- Organizing and maintaining clinical group material to provide structure to curriculum
- Documenting within the electronic health record
- Documenting therapeutic processes, as well as all other relevant clinical information
- Provide insurance utilization team with progress towards treatment goals
- Participating in professional development activities
- Other duties, as assigned
Who You Are:
- Have one to two years post master’s experience, or a relevant master’s level internship within a PHP/IOP or inpatient setting
- Possess a core skill set of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Have prior experience working in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, inpatient hospital, or residential setting preferred
