Weekly outpatient therapy isn't always enough, and a trip to the ER isn't the only answer. Patients and their families rely on Compass Health Center when in crisis – every day, we help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.
About This Role
The Lead Intake Clinician is responsible for managing the day-to-day assignments of the clinical intake team and ensuring the process for new patient admissions is efficient and expeditious. The Lead will assist our Intake clinical leaders in coordinating resources and in the collection of daily metrics. The Lead will also step in and assist in completing intakes when necessary to ensure access to care for prospective patients.
Our dedicated operations teams work behind the scenes to bring our shared mission to life. Each department delivers their own set of strengths which empower our clinicians to focus on their expertise and ultimately perform the meaningful work that we do.
This position is expected to be at their assigned site Monday through Friday 8:30AM-4:30PM. There will be no on-call requirement.
What You'll Do:
- Be the point person for the site for first level problem-solving and support and clinical consultation needs
- Lead day to day coordination of staffing/resourcing to best support patient flow. Ensure intake resources are evenly utilized and make changes as needed.
- Manage and delegate follow-up needs for case management/patient engagement using centralized tools.
- Lead daily admission operations and collaborate with other intake clinician leads across sites as well as program and site leaders
- Support in customer services issues (patient complaints) and escalate as needed
- Lead Intake clinician huddles across sites virtually
- Implement and own process improvements to support key initiatives
- Complete intake assessments as needed that span across all age ranges
- Onboard and coordinate training of Intake Clinicians.
Who You Are:
- Master's degree with licensure (ie. LCPC, LCSW), or licensed Psychologist
- Have the ability to self-motivate and remain on task.
- Have the ability to pick up new systems quickly and implement processes that support key initiatives.
- Are committed to Company values.
- Have strong customer orientation. Excellent customer service skills (friendly, empathetic, courteous and helpful).
- Strong Excel skills are a must; PowerBI (or other reporting tool) a plus
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and patients.
- Have the ability to motivate and be part of creating a safe, fun, efficient, positive team-orientated environment.
