What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient TMS Psychiatrist position at Compass Health Center?
Compass Health Center is seeking an Outpatient TMS Psychiatrist to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role may be part-time or full-time and will primarily work from Compass’ Chicago facility, with the potential for remote work 1-2 days per week.
We are seeking an Adult Psychiatrist who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while leading Compass’ first offering of TMS and Outpatient Psychiatry service. This position will champion and lead our TMS offering and treat high complexity outpatients as well as patients in our PHP and IOP programs. You will play a pivotal role in a growing, mission-driven environment that accommodates psychiatrist autonomy to create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient.

What You'll Do
- Provide Outpatient Psychiatry services both in person and virtually, ages 16
- Provide initial TMS sessions to patients, and support and oversee provision of additional TMS sessions provided by TMS clinical staff.
- Coordinate, consult and champion TMS with Compass providers throughout system who treat PHP and IOP patients.
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations for Compass patients, establishing diagnoses, prescribing medication, and providing therapy and provide TMS when appropriate to outpatients
- Leading TMS and Outpatient team include Nurse Practitioner, Manager and TMS tech
- Collaborating with family therapists, individual therapists, nurses, and psychiatrists
- Average 12-15 patient visits per day
Who You Are
- BE or BC in Illinois
- Licensed or ability to obtain Illinois Board of Medical Practice Licensure
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for the State of Illinois
- Skilled in the evaluation and treatment of mental illness
- Excellent communication skills and the desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
