Bayside Care Center, a Compass Health, Inc. skilled nursing facility, is hiring for Dietary Aide.
Duties:
- Assist cook in the prep and serving of meals.
- Prep coffee, salads, desserts and hot/cold food items as directed.
- Assist with meal service and the delivery of plates to the resident tables.
- Inventory stocking and storage organization.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks to keep kitchen area and equipment sanitized and sterile.
- Dishwashing
- Emptying of waste containers.
- Attend staff and in-service meetings.
- Performs other duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements:
- Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled people
- Good team spirit and flexibility
- Organization
- Good verbal skills in English
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- This position involves standing for long periods of time, lifting, bending & twisting
