Job Title: Nurse LPN/RN - Crisis Center (Weekend Nights)

Job Overview

Join our dedicated team at Compass Health Network as a Nurse LPN/RN in our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, where you will play a crucial role in providing direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric setting. We are excited to offer a $2,400 sign-on bonus to support our mission of delivering quality and compassionate care to the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including health and pain assessments, vital sign monitoring, and daily care for individuals at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
• Administer medications, oversee self-administration, and manage medication records including the MAR.
• Provide education to patients and families on health matters and medication use.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated care for individuals in behavioral crisis.
• Document and report changes in patients’ behavior, attitude, and physical condition.
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures while also training new staff on protocols.
• Attend team and leadership meetings as required.
• Participate in mandatory overtime when necessary.
  
  

Required Skills

• Exceptional verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills.
• Strong cognitive, organizational, and emotional capabilities to manage multiple stressors effectively.
• Experience in providing direct patient care to adults, particularly in high-stress situations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Valid LPN or RN licensure in Missouri is required.
• A minimum of one year of psychiatric care experience; background in hospital or acute care settings is preferred.
