What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician I position at Compass Health Network?
Compensation: $18.48 hourly
To provide support services to the assigned facility with regard to maintaining and cleaning the facility including offices, restrooms, showers, equipment, physical plant and grounds in order to provide a safe and clean environment.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS – JOB SPECIFIC
- Perform general maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, changing bulbs, plunging toilets, and assembling furniture
- Assist in receiving materials and supplies, restocking materials and supplies, and notifying appropriate staff of low materials and supplies
- Other maintenance duties as assigned by individual location
- Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
Exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials
Job Requirements:
High School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Working knowledge and understanding of general housekeeping & cleaning methods, and general maintenance methods and procedures preferred
- General knowledge of building and equipment maintenance/repair preferred
- At least two (2) years’ experience in maintenance or janitorial operations preferred
- A valid driver’s license at the time of hire required
