What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician II position at Compass Health Network?
Compensation: $19.89 hourly
To provide support services to the assigned facilities with regard to maintaining the plant, equipment, offices, residential areas and grounds of multiple facilities in order to provide a safe and operational environment.
This is a Full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and repair facilities while meeting and maintaining compliance with the local building and fire codes
- Enter data into computerized work order management system
- Work with minimal supervision and with multiple types of tools to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with small projects that are completed by in-house staff
- Other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS & EXPOSURE RISK
- Regular exposure to electrical hazards
- Exposure to biohazard and/or chemical waste materials
- Operating vehicles or machinery
Job Requirements:
High School/GED preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- At least three (3) years maintenance, carpentry or similar skilled trade experience preferred
- Skilled in at least one (1) trade preferred
- Working knowledge and understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance methods and procedures preferred
- Working knowledge of regulatory standards as well as safety and equipment requirements preferred
- Working knowledge and ability to conduct general building and repair practices and methods preferred
- A valid driver’s license at the time of hire required
