Job Overview

Compass Health Network is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Center Clinician (Weekend Days) to join our team. This role is vital in delivering person-centered care and overseeing a multi-disciplinary team at the local Crisis Access Point (CAP). We are proud to offer a competitive sign-on bonus of $2,400 to support the urgent service needs of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct triage assessments for individuals presenting at the CAP, who may be experiencing behavioral health distress.
• Emphasize the mission to avoid unnecessary hospitalization and law enforcement involvement.
• When clinically appropriate, carry out comprehensive assessments for agency intake documentation.
• Evaluate the readiness and appropriateness of referrals for internal and external services.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team while providing supervision to on-shift staff at the CAP.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, Compass Health, and external partners.
• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with agency and state regulations, possessing a strong understanding of utilization management criteria.
• Deliver culturally competent services tailored to the unique needs of each consumer and their family members.
• Establish connections with community partners to facilitate holistic services for individuals served.

Qualifications

• Must possess Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP), or be a licensed therapist with a minimum of two years of experience preferred.

• Preferred: Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
• Required: Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
