Key Responsibilities
- Deliver age-appropriate care for psychiatric patients
- Assist in the bending, lifting, and transporting of patients as needed
- Facilitate patient groups and therapeutic activities
- Complete a minimum of 52 educational activities annually
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance patient care during peer evaluations
- Mentor and guide new employees as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams by sharing patient information and recommendations
- Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues
- Proficient in providing age-appropriate care for psychiatric patients
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capable of engaging in group activities to support patient care
- Adaptable to dynamic and fast-paced settings
- Preferred: At least one (1) year of psychiatric or nursing experience
- High School diploma or GED preferred
