Weekend Mental Health Technician

Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Weekend Mental Health Technician at Compass Health, a leader in behavioral health services. As we expand our clinics, we are excited to offer a $1000 sign-on bonus to attract top talent dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our clients. The position requires working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, with additional shift differentials added to your base hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver age-appropriate psychiatric care to patients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Engage in bending, lifting, and transporting patients as necessary.
• Facilitate patient groups to support therapeutic goals.
• Complete a minimum of 52 educational activities annually to advance professional knowledge.
• Provide constructive feedback in peer evaluations to enhance patient care.
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to newly hired staff when required.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team by sharing pertinent patient information and recommendations.
• Maintain effective communication with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in psychiatric or nursing settings is preferred.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
