Job Overview

Join Compass Health Network as a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in psychiatric care during weekend night shifts. This full-time position entails 36 hours of work from Friday to Monday, offering a competitive sign-on bonus of $3,600 to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric setting, adhering to the standards of Professional Nursing Practice.
• Collaborate as a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring coordinated care and educational support for patients and their families.
• Provide age-appropriate care across various patient demographics, including preadolescents, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
• Participate in mandatory overtime when necessary, in compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, to meet patient care obligations.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and nonverbal communication skills.
• Robust cognitive, organizational, and emotional capabilities to effectively navigate high-stress situations.
• Physical strength and agility for the lifting and moving of patients and equipment, including the capacity to engage in physical intervention techniques as needed.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least one year of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Required licensure as an RN or GN, with the necessity to pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation.
