Senior Director - Financial Analytics - Healthcare

Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Senior Director of Financial Analytics for a management organization that specializes in managing healthcare assisted-living facilities through innovative management and data-driven decision making. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of leveraging advanced analytics to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Provide executive-level oversight and leadership of financial analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align analytics strategies with organizational goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that optimize financial and operational performance.

Advanced Predictive Analytics:

• Develop and deploy predictive models to forecast key business metrics such as occupancy rates, revenue, and operational efficiency.
• Utilize machine learning and natural language processing techniques to automate data classification and enhance data-driven processes.

Financial and Operational Insights:

• Conduct profitability analyses by referral sources, payers, and operational units to inform strategic business decisions.
• Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for operational efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
• Integrate external market data with internal metrics to provide a comprehensive view of organizational performance.

Business Intelligence Development:

• Design and implement dashboards and automated reporting solutions using tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, and SQL-based platforms.
• Oversee the transition to new systems or platforms, ensuring continuity and scalability in reporting and analytics capabilities.

Executive Decision Support:

• Partner with C-suite executives to identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities for growth and optimization.
• Provide insights into customer segmentation, lifetime value, and market dynamics to guide marketing, sales, and operational strategies.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics and business intelligence.
• Proactively recommend and implement enhancements to existing analytical tools, methodologies, and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Extensive experience in financial analytics and business intelligence, preferably in the healthcare, assisted-living, or related sectors.
• Proficiency in analytical tools and programming languages, including SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau or MicroStrategy.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights and measurable improvements in business performance.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to present complex data in a clear and compelling manner.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams and initiatives.
