What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Lead Case Manager position at Compass Medical Provider, LLC?
The Site Lead Case Manager (LCM) will oversee and manage the non-clinical case management team supporting the Wyoming Army National Guard (WYARNG). The LCM is responsible for ensuring contract performance aligns with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) while also handling their own case management workload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the non-clinical case management team.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract personnel.
- Develop team workflows and ensure personnel training on military medical systems.
- Provide oversight and support for medical records management, MRC correction, PHA event planning, patient risk analysis, and medical board completion.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Army regulations, and other federal requirements.
- Assist in the preparation, tracking, and administration of Soldier Treatment Records (STRs).
- Monitor and ensure data accuracy within MHS-Genesis, MODS, MEDCHART, and PRT databases.
- Coordinate with military personnel to maintain compliance with medical readiness goals (MRC status).
- Conduct quality control audits to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Attend monthly meetings with the Deputy State Surgeon (DSS), Health Services Supervisor (HSS), and Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to review case status.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical case management, health administration, or military healthcare systems.
- Prior experience in supervising personnel and managing medical readiness programs is highly desirable.
- Military medical administration experience may substitute for formal education.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MHS-Genesis, MODS, MEDCHART, and PRT databases.
- Strong knowledge of Army National Guard medical readiness processes and regulations.
- Experience with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Additional Requirements:
- Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and meet security clearance requirements.
- Must complete Antiterrorism (AT) Level 1, iWATCH, OPSEC, HIPAA, and PII training within 30 days of employment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work one weekend per month for PHA events.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass a background check.
