We are seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee the repair, maintenance and installation of electrical systems in our mining operations.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of underground mining experience, preferably in the salt mining industry. They will be responsible for scheduling, assigning and supervising electrical shop personnel, ensuring efficient work processes and maintaining high voltage systems and equipment.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to conduct regular safety meetings, provide technical expertise, maintain permissibility on underground equipment and develop work schedules and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule, assign, plan and supervise the work of electrical shop personnel.
- Ensure crew is working efficiently and that oncoming crews have appropriate work lined up for them.
- Conduct regular safety meetings.
- Provide technical expertise to ensure exceptional production.
- Maintain all high voltage systems and equipment.
- Maintain permissibility on underground equipment as per MSHA regulations.
- Plans and develops work schedules, equipment usage schedules, priority of electrical expenditures and procedures for equipment and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure crew is working in safe environment through attention to housekeeping and workplace inspections.
- Assume responsibility of maintaining safe work conditions, adherence to operational policies and procedures, and adherence of MSHA regulations.
- Responsible for meeting budget guidelines and assisting in preparation of capital and operational budgets.
- Complete necessary daily MSHA and other checks/reports.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of underground mining experience.
- Underground mine supervisory experience in the salt mining industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software, experience with Allen Bradley PLC controls or similar control systems; experience with instrumentation processes.
