Compass Oncology the Pacific Northwests largest privately owned cancer care group offers a myriad of treatments and services to their patients. At our West Cancer Center our patients can receive Radiation Oncology (RadOnc) services. Our dedicated RadOnc team is looking for a Radiation Therapist to become their newest member. As an integral part of the RadOnc care team, the Radiation Therapist would assist with the administration of radiation treatments to our patients. Other duties would include assisting with scheduling, making custom molds, and aiding the Radiation Oncologists in the treatment of our patients. Location : Rose Quarter Cancer Center (Portland, Oregon)
Salary Range : $43.04-$62.22 Per Hour
- Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidates applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations.
Job Scope : Under direct supervision, administers radiation therapy treatments to patients. Accuracy in positioning the beam of radiation to correspond with the designated tumor volume and accurately delivering the prescribed dose are paramount job functions. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology / hematology clinic environment. Work will involve in-person interaction with co-workers and management and / or clients. Work may require minimal travel by automobile to office sites.
