Job Summary

Compass One, a leading division of Compass Group North America, is seeking a multidimensional and results-driven Sr. Strategic Project Manager. This role is crucial in retaining market share, driving profitable market growth, and improving distributor, consultant and GPO interactions affiliated Compass One accounts. Key Responsibilities:

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners through effective communication and project management.
• Resource Allocation: Identify and mobilize the vital resources to support new business initiatives and ensure project success.
• Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple priorities and manage time effectively to meet and exceed goals.
• Goal Achievement: Consistently surpass team goals and sales targets, driving exceptional performance.
• Communication: Exhibit high energy, positivity, and excellent communication skills for presentations and interpersonal interactions.
• Teamwork: Partner with operational teams and sales colleagues to drive new business and support client retention efforts.
• Strategic Growth: Aggressively pursue new revenue streams and strategic initiatives while ensuring strong profitability.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Food and Supply Distribution, Healthcare support service operations (with an emphasis in Food and Nutrition), Third party consultants and benchmarking, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), affiliates, and aggregation groups.
• Experience: At least five years of experience in healthcare support service operations with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
• Expertise: Understanding of food supply chain fundamentals, food service consultants and benchmarking tools, and facilities management operations.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM database management and strong digital literacy.
  
  

Professionalism: Ability to represent Compass One at industry events and demonstrate executive presence and integrity.

• Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25% nationally as the need arises.
