Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Food Service Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.
Food Service Utility Worker Responsibilities:
- Safely transports garbage, and recyclable material to assigned areas.
- Accurately washes pots, pans, dishes, trays, and silverware following all standards accurately in accordance with procedures. Keeps area well maintained and is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen. Air dries pots, pans, trays, dishes, and silverware before stacking.
- Accurately sets up sanitizing solutions and follows guidelines.
- Demonstrates knowledge of federal, state, local and department sanitation procedures and maintains a clean, sanitary working environment in all areas of Food & Nutrition Services.
- Follows Board of Health and department sanitation procedures and maintains a clean, sanitary working environment.
- Keeps area well maintained and is responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchen. Air dries pots, pans, trays, dishes, and silverware before stacking.
- Identifies and utilizes cleaning chemicals used, following directions recommended by manufactures and per MSDS sheets.
- Demonstrates knowledge of infection control and sanitation with hand washing, use of gloves and handling utensils.
Food Service Utility Worker Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Must be open to working late nights to help with events
- Must be 16 years of age
- 3 months or more related experience necessary.
