Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Fitness Center Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.
Lifeguard / Physical Trainer Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations in the Fitness & Aquatic Center
- Monitor the safety of residents on fitness equipment and during aquatic exercise classes
- Communicate with members and staff in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor the safety of swimmers while in the pool and exemplify rescue-ready behavior
- Lead and instruct group aquatic exercise classes weekly
- Track and report member attendance
- Other work duties as assigned
Lifeguard / Physical Trainer Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Fitness/Exercise Experience
- Minimum 1 year coaching and or swim instructor experience preferred
- Minimum 6-month lifeguarding experience
- Lifeguard and First Aid certification
- CPR / AED certification required
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50lbs.
