Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Laundry Team. Compass Park is a vast 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This job is in Franklin, IN.
Laundry Aide Responsibilities:
- Inspect clothing for stains and pre-treat them with appropriate stain removal products before laundering to ensure effective stain removal.
- Use permanent makers or fabric labels to clearly mark each piece of clothing with the resident’s name or identification number.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry room by regularly wiping down the surfaces, sweeping floors, emptying trash bins, and organizing supplies.
- Participate in ongoing in-service training sessions provided by the facility to stay updated on best practices, safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to laundry services.
- Adhere to facility dress code policies by wearing designated uniforms or attire.
Laundry Aide Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience preferred but not required
