As an independent sponsor, Compass currently has two portfolio companies and is seeking new platforms and add-ons in the lower-middle market. The Compass team is critical to our approach, and we are currently looking for a new Executive Assistant to join our family.
Position Description: Executive Assistant
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, follow-through and high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Quickbooks experience preferred
- Previous administrative experience in a financial firm a plus
- Must be United States citizen

Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Compass Team including travel arrangements, expense report submissions, meeting coordination
- Provide as needed personal support and project management for team members
- Assist in maintaining a professional and clean appearance around the office, ordering office supplies and maintaining office space
- Greet guests and prepare meetings
- Support VP of Investor Relations and Administration in the following functions:
- Accounting – processing accounts payable, reconciling bank account, depositing checks, preparing wires, and expense processing
- Marketing & IR efforts – holiday/mass mailing, website maintenance, press releases, reporting distributions and investor call scheduling
- Human Resources – employment verifications, onboarding and offboarding of employees, record keeping
- Operations – vendor management

· Base salary commensurate with experience fully covered company healthcare plan
· Participation in investments, discretionary bonuses, and company profit-share
