Summary
As a Non-Emergency Medical Transport driver, you will be essential in providing safe and reliable transportation for patients to and from medical appointments. Reporting to the Transportation Coordinator, your core skills in driving and customer service will ensure a comfortable experience for passengers. Your premium skills, including shuttle and bus driving, will enhance your ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Additionally, relevant skills such as communication and maintenance will support the operational success of our service. Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Experience in shuttle driving or delivery driving
- Ability to operate various vehicles, including vans and buses
- Familiarity with paratransit services and heavy lifting
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge and experience in commercial driving
Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrivals.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, performing routine checks and necessary maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and healthcare facilities regarding schedules and any changes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
