Brock & Company , a leading provider of customized, contract food management / culinary services to corporations as well as private and independent schools is seeking a Director of Business Development to join their team. The sales territory is MD and the Washington DC Metro area.
Must have a vehicle and be able to regularly drive locally within the territory. This is a home-based job.
This is a hunter role , requires generating your own leads and bringing on new business . The idea candidate has 3 years of business development in contract dining, hospitality or the service industry. This is a consultative sales role and experience supporting commercial and non-commercial customers is a must have.

Director of Business Development Responsibilities :
Create and build client relationships to generate new business. (Requires car travel to MD and DC Metro area).
Generate and develop business leads-phone calls, email, networking events, referral partners.
Develop and facilitate the proposal process including budget and pricing development, proposal development, contract negotiations and client presentations.
Utilize Pipedrive daily to develop and maintain relationships with customers.
Collaborate with operations and finance group regarding proposal specifics and keep internal groups updated on proposal progress, critical timeframes and expectations.
Assist sales colleagues and operational team with developing project plans, defining roles and the scope of work for each project.
Establish and maintain on-going client relationships and participate in site visits before and after sale.
Director of Business DevelopmentQualifications :
Must have a hunter mentality!
Bachelors degree preferred (hospitality or similar).
3 yrs. Business Development experience in contract dining, hospitality or service industries.
Must have proven lead generation and new business development experience.
