We're Hiring: Systems & Strategy Coordinator
At Compass Rose Coordination, we believe a well-run wedding or event starts with a well-run business behind the scenes. That’s why we’re looking for a Systems & Strategy Coordinator—someone who thrives on organization, keeps projects moving, and loves a good workflow.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Email & Calendar Management – Keep the inbox streamlined and schedule meetings like a pro.
- Inquiry Management – Ensure timely responses to potential clients so no lead goes unnoticed.
- Task & Project Management – Oversee workflows for our team of four, making sure tasks are assigned and deadlines are met.
- Shift Scheduling – Manage the scheduling of our wedding day assistants to ensure smooth event execution.
- KPI Reporting – Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to help us improve and grow.
- Digital Filing & Organization – Keep online files, notes, and systems neat, searchable, and up-to-date.
- Team & Client Feedback Management – Gather and organize feedback to enhance both team operations and client experiences.
- SOP & Process Improvement – Help document and refine our standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency.
- Light Administrative Support – Jump in on additional administrative tasks as needed to support the team and owner.
- Team Member Management – Assist with onboarding and offboarding team members, answering their questions, and ensuring they have what they need.
- Client Onboarding – Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Tech-Savvy & Systems-Oriented – Comfortable with tools like Dubsado, ClickUp, Google Suite, Zapier, and willing to learn new platforms.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized – You catch the small things others miss and thrive on keeping everything in order.
- Independent Yet Collaborative – You work well on your own but also enjoy being part of a team.
- Problem Solver & Idea Generator – You don’t just spot inefficiencies—you bring ideas to the table on how to fix them.
- Data & Metrics Enthusiast – You love tracking numbers and insights to measure what’s working.
- Experience in the Wedding & Events Industry – Not required, but a big plus!
Compensation & Work Environment:
- $23/hour
- Hybrid Position – Mostly remote, with occasional in-person meetings in the Coastal Virginia area
- 10 hours per week, with some flexibility based on workload and business needs
