Part-Time Math Interventionist (24 Hours/Week) - Bastrop, TX


Position Reports To:
Assistant Principal Judy Marsh, Compass Rose Harvest Elementary or Assistant Principal Pamela Bernal, Compass Rose Harvest Secondary

Grade-Levels: Positions Available in 3-5 Grade and 6-8 Grade

Schedule: January to May, 4 Days/Week, 24 Hours/Week

You

Required

  • Experience in tutoring, teaching, or intervention, especially with struggling learners.
  • Strong knowledge of math curriculum and best practices for teaching math.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with students,


Compensation

  • $25/hour


Your Mission

Redefine what’s possible in public education. It is your primary responsibility to support students performing below or struggling to succeed at grade level in Math.


Your Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted math interventions for students who are below grade level or struggling.
  • Develop and implement individualized or small-group math lessons based on student needs.
  • Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to align intervention strategies with classroom instruction.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to math intervention.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress.
