Job Summary:
This is a temporary position where the job responsibilities are to assemble multiple cable harnesses from schematic/technical drawings and work instructions. Responsibilities include:
- Crimp pins, terminate shields and assemble connectors
- Manage harnesses with tie wrap/lacing, braided sleeves and heat shrink as necessary
- Assemble electro-mechanical modules and systems as required
- Test manufactured products
- Required to be able to use the following tools and equipment: wire strippers, crimpers, solder stations, heat gun, various hand tools, VOM, cable tester, and tape measure
Essential Job Functions:
- General knowledge of common mechanical techniques (such as geometric dimensioning and tolerance practices)
- Ability to verify measurements to validate part compliance using various measurement devices (caliper, tape measure, pin gauges, go/no-go gauges, etc.)
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and able to verify part dimensions against drawing requirements
- Ability to use the following tools, equipment, and software: VOM, cable tester, pull tester, etc.
- General computer data entry knowledge
- Ability to work within a production team environment

Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills:
High school diploma and/or 2 years experience in related field or academic study.
Physical Requirements:
Technician will need to be able to lift up to 45lbs, have good manual dexterity of hands and eye sight to use a wide range of materials, tools and equipment.
