Job Title: Entry-Level Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering)

Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Engineers to join our team in roles supporting Quality, Facilities, Equipment Design/Maintenance, and Manufacturing operations. This position is ideal for recent graduates in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The successful candidate will be involved in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of our production systems and equipment, while working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance & Control:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry regulations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and validation of products and equipment to identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Work with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Document quality control processes and maintain records of inspections and test results.
- Facilities Maintenance & Operations:
- Support the planning, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing facilities, ensuring they meet safety, performance, and operational requirements.
- Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with facility managers to assess the need for facility upgrades or modifications.
- Equipment Design & Maintenance:
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
- Support the maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
- Assist in performing root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommending corrective actions.
- Work with the engineering team to develop technical specifications and implement improvements in equipment design.
- Manufacturing Operations:
- Support daily production activities by providing technical assistance to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize workflows, equipment layouts, and materials handling processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and support initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, equipment design, and manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of quality control practices, facility maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and familiarity with manufacturing software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Experience with troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
