Validation Test Technician
Location: Farmington Hills, MI
Summary:
Join our team as a crucial Test Technician, ensuring the quality of products through diligent electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing. You will operate various specialized testing equipment, contribute to departmental activities, and maintain accurate test data. We are seeking a motivated and positive individual eager to learn and collaborate within our existing team.
What You'll Do:
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests according to customer specifications under the guidance of a Test Engineer and/or Manager.
- Operate equipment such as temperature humidity chambers, thermal shock chambers, vibration shakers, polishing/grinding machines, Push-Pull Testers, Power Supplies, and Data Acquisition systems.
- Participate in departmental tasks and initiatives, including equipment calibration, work instruction development, and continuous improvement activities (Kaizen).
- Maintain accurate and well-organized documentation of test data.
- Work independently to achieve assigned tasks while collaborating with the team to share equipment effectively.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintain a safe working environment, and practice good housekeeping at all times.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Electrical experience (preferred).
- Experience working in a test lab (a plus).
