Body Technician

Compass Truck Sales is looking for a full time Body Technicians that can successfully run the following scope of work:

• Removing and installing new interior body parts
• Removing, preparing, painting, and installing exterior body parts
• Performing Body damage inspections
• Performing body repairs using Bondo, Fiberglass filler, Fiberglass Resin and Cloth
• Performing dent and scratch repairs
• Mixing paint, Tinting paint and Painting body panels and parts
• Staying up to date by following products safety operations and handling

Be comfortable to work in all four-season weather conditions in case:

• The truck is towed in after hours and would need to be towed into the shop the next morning
• The truck is completely dead and would need to be jumped to be pulled into the shop.
• There is a high volume of work
• There is a deadline to meet

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-year body experience
• Valid Forklift License preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Following safety steps/protocol when needed in all types of situations
• Equipped with tools to perform work efficiently preferred but some tools are acceptable
• A skilled Welder is a plus
• Teamwork oriented
• Cleanliness oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
