What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alumni Coordinator position at Compassion Behavioral Health?
We are seeking an Alumni Coordinator to join out team! He/she is responsible for making outbound calls and communicates with clients and former clients about treatment options.
Job Duties:
- Conducts outbound telephone calls to Compassion Behavioral Health alumni.
- Alerts clinical and other staff to any special problems or issues that alumni may have that would affect treatment or recovery.
- Follows up with the alumni on any questions or needs.
- Follows protocol during phone conversations and adheres to company policies during all communication with alumni.
- Represents the program to referral sources, potential patients, and other outside individuals and agencies in a courteous, professional manner that reflects positively on the program and its staff.
- Maintains assignment boards, bulletin boards, and other communication sources.
- Maintains Alumni Facebook page (Daily Quote, Adding Users, etc.).
- Works as a liaison between Directors and vendors to plan such events.
- Maintains relationships with all Alumni via groups, phone, text message, social media and email providing necessary information, as needed.
- Maintains relationships with family via phone and email providing information, as needed.
- Facilitates Alumni Chapter Meeting and groups at all facilities, as needed.
- Schedule speakers for groups when required.
- Assists in the Admission process when necessary for re-admit clients
- Communicates with admissions and business development via email and phone to get admission process started on alumni referrals
- Conducts initial follow up calls with Clients ensuring that all discharge plans are running smoothly, assisting with any questions or concerns
- Conducts and Initiates Alumni interest in events, chapter meetings, and other activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Personal experience in recovery, preferred.
- Work experience in substance abuse and mental health field and/or sales, preferred.
- Experience with KIPU and Salesforce, preferred.
