Reception/Medical Assistant for Small Family Practice

The right person for this position will be someone who loves customer service and does not mind working reception and answering phones, but also loves rooming patients and working as a medical assistant as well !

We have a small team, who works together in all parts of our family medical practice.

Essential Job Duties Include but are not limited to

• Collecting and entering patient information including medical history, vitals, test results, medical records and other confidential information.
• Speaking to patient's both in person and over the phone regarding any clinic/health related information.
• Checking in patient's for appointments, checking them out and scheduling follow up appointments.
• Preparing exam rooms, rooming patients, taking vitals and preparing charts for providers.
• Send record requests, answer fax and email requests.
• Work closely with the providers and other team members, using good collaboration and team work.
• Staying HIPPA compliant and confidential with all patient information
• Communicating and relaying messages in many different forms and to different sources internal and externally.

Hours

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM
• Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday Off

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual - Spanish
