Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to the healthcare team.
- Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Transporting clients to activities and places such as grocery stores and appointments as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by adhering to hygiene standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Administer medications, training provided.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct care roles is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Ability to assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
