Job Summary

We are looking for COMPANIONS - No License Needed - NJ (Ocean County) and Warren County, NJ . Certified Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants are also welcome to join our team. You will work directly with patients, following a one-on-one care plan. You operate with a big heart while providing personalized and attentive care and building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are compassionate, reliable, able to work independently, and committed to creating a healthy and safe environment that meets patient needs.

Strong verbal and social skills are needed to succeed in this role. These are PART TIME, PER DIEM JOBS . Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.

We operate throughout New Jersey; however, at present we are only looking for Companions who live in one of the following counties :

Warren County

Ocean County

Camden County

Atlantic County

Burlington County

Somerset County

Mercer County

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients by chatting with them to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
• Engage patients [without physical contact] in exercises or other fun activities (for example, playing cards, board games, watching TV, reading to them, writing letters for them)
• Report observations to supervisor

Qualifications

• Elementary / High School Education
• One year prior professional experience
