Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Support clients in maintaining a clean and organized living environment.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
- Engage in meaningful social interactions to promote emotional well-being.
- Implement behavior management strategies as necessary to ensure a safe environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to develop personalized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
Skills
- Strong ability to provide direct support and assistance in daily activities.
- Experience in personal care home settings is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Familiarity with social work principles and practices related to client care.
- Ability to manage behaviors effectively while maintaining a supportive environment.
