- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on the specific needs of each client.
- Monitor patients' health by observing changes in their condition and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Ensure that resident rights are respected and upheld at all times.
- Assist with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure client safety.
- Support clients with hospice care when necessary, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and patient monitoring techniques is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as required for mobility support.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Understanding of home community care practices is an asset.
