What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weekend On-Call Hospice RN position at Compassionate Hospice Care?
Overview
We are looking for an On Call Registered Nurse to cover weekends.
Our On Call position is a direct patient care visit.
This position will directly report to the Director of Clinical Services. You will utilize assessment, intervention, and teaching skills to maximize patient comfort and to enhance the quality of life. Assumes after hours coverage for the designated teams and functions as an interdisciplinary team member to provide advanced illness management and support, along with telephonic, video, and in person interventions after hours.
About You
- Current RN Licensure in the of Michigan
- Hospice experience preferred
- Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including background in EMR
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining rapport with patients and families, and ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team and PCP
- CPR certification, copy of TB results
- Current driver license and auto insurance
Compensation:
$100 for each day on call
$70 PRN visit, $120 death visit, $250 admission
