Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions, and manage overall patient care
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests including lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments according to state regulations and clinical guidelines
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing preventive care and health maintenance
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records with accuracy and thoroughness
- Provide patient education regarding disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Board certification in Family Practice or Adult Medicine
- Current DEA registration
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in primary care
- Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- MUST SPEAK ENGLISH AND SPANISH
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with population health management
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of practice
