SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the organization has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure operating efficiency. Oversight of Day and Residential services, managing the day-to-day supervision and communication with Direct Support Professional(s) (DSP), Day Services Coordinator, and Residential Coordinator.
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures, contractual agreements established with Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Service System, as well as ensuring compliance with state, federal and local regulations and laws.
- Will ensure an exceptional quality of services delivered by the organization through continuous evaluation and performance improvement strategies that enhance outcomes to individuals served..
- Will routinely assess service needs and develop and implement local programs at the community level appropriate with the agency mission, vision, and values.
- Coordinates personnel decisions including hiring, disciplinary action, and any other employee needs.
- Oversees placement for vocational and residential services, helping advocate individual choice, person-centered planning and changing roles of professionals providing services.
- Responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating all service provisions rendered through the Residential and Day Services Departments.
- Will ensure client rights are maintained and respected through in-home/work visits, GER audits, and attendance at quarterly Human Right Committee meetings.
- Collaborate with CEO and team to ensure client specific protocols, medications, or medical needs are in place and are adhered to by the Shared Living Provider, Coordinators and Day Staff.
- Collaborates with CEO to ensure client safety plans, behavioral support plans, behavior trackers are person-centered, implemented, and required documentation completed.
- Will asses our Shared Living Providers deliver the highest level of quality services possible, while maintaining compliance with the individual’s program plan.
- Available to provide 24-hour crisis intervention support to Coordinators via phone.
- Ensure day services schedule is maintained and followed, encouraging meaningful activities and community centered activities.
- Conduct training sessions based on staff and organizational learning needs. Includes assistance in development, implementation, and continuous improvement of onboarding training program and continued training for current employees.
- Maintain open communication with staff through staff meetings.
- Quality Assurance of data collection and client records.
- Review/Approval of GERs that meets required timeline from DHHS.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
