What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transport Driver position at Compassionate Services and Consulting?
CSC is searching for a part-time Transportation Specialist to assist in transporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities from their home to day center, and/or day center to home.
Day Center is located off of 144 and Center. Shift hours between 7 and 9am, and 2 and 4pm. Possibility for some extended hours. Split shift or either schedule block is available.
You have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives without working direct 8-hour shift.
No special licensing is required for this position.
Job Duties:
- Provide supervision to a people with intellectual and developmental disabilities during the transportation process to and from the Day Center.
- Ensure the safety of individuals while in route, ensuring individual is dropped off with caregiver present, including ensuring appropriate "hand off" of supervision.
- Follow all applicable transportation laws and regulations.

- Transportation Specialist ensures each individuals’ rights are protected.
- Transportation Specialist treats all individuals with dignity and respect.
- Transportation Specialist will complete any training and background checks required by CSC and Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.
- Transportation Specialist will ensure valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mature & dependable individual; minimum age of 18 years.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must meet background and reference requirements.
- Reliable Vehicle with Proof of Auto Insurance.
- Clean Driving Record. No suspensions & less than three tickets in three years.
- Computer/smart phone skills sufficient to complete required documentation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
