Compeer Contract Cleaning Services is looking for a Sanitation Technician to help support our growth efforts. Compeer is a growing company and this is an opportunity to be a part of the growth.
The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for the cleaning of a food processing facility on the night shift. The work schedule is Monday through Friday generally but is based upon customer production scheduling. The schedule is generally from 4PM - 11PM or until the work is completed. The work to be completed is very particular and needs someone who has an attention to detail.
The basic duties of the Sanitation Technician include, but are not limited to:
- Covering of sensitive equipment prior to wet cleaning of equipment.
- Cleaning food processing equipment in a facility. This includes using water hoses, brushes, scrub pads as well as wiping surfaces.
- Trash removal and replacing of trash bags.
- Clean and sanitize parts and tools for use during the production shift.
- Inspect food processing equipment after cleaning. A high attention to detail is required.
- Work with cleaning chemicals and wear proper protective equipment.
- Work in a safe manner at all times. Use of company-provided Lockout Tagout devices is mandatory.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Be hands-on and have the ability to complete all cleaning tasks in a timely manner.
- Complete daily and weekly reports as required.
