Open to location: This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. With our Sun Prairie, WI office preferred.
The Contributions You Will Make
This position proactively qualifies leads through inbound and outbound calls and emails, driving cross-sell and upsell opportunities while ensuring a consistent client experience. Maintains accurate client records, collaborates with internal teams, reports on performance metrics and stays informed on product knowledge and industry trends.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay
$50,900 - $72,100 USD

A Typical Day
- Contacts and qualifies marketing-generated leads through targeted, high-quality communications, ensuring a smooth transition of opportunities to sales team members.
- Conducts high-volume outbound calls as part of focused campaigns for key business units. Prioritizes cross-sell and upsell opportunities during peak seasons to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships.
- Engages prospects through timely, professional email communications, ensuring responsiveness and delivering a high standard of client interaction throughout the sales process.
- Ensures the delivery of a consistent experience to prospects and clients in alignment with Compeer’s mission and vision.
- Continuously refines and enhances sales skills through ongoing training and development.
- Remains current on product details and program changes to maintain expertise.
- Monitors marketplace trends, developments, and competitive intelligence to inform sales approaches.
- Associate’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, agribusiness or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Experience in agribusiness/farming industry or similar experience in agriculture credit or closely related field, preferred.
- Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
- Strong communication skills both verbally and written in clear, concise and professional manner appropriate to any audience of the sales process externally and internally.
- High level of self-motivation and resiliency in order to complete demanding objectives for prospective and existing client interactions.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- High level of integrity.
- Strong decision making and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) programs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
