This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is based out of the Mankato, MN; Lakeville, MN; Sun Prairie, WI office location(s).
The Contributions You Will Make
This position is responsible for leveraging data analytics to support and enhance the human resources function within Compeer. The incumbent collects, analyzes, and interprets HR data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and utilizes predictive analytics to forecast HR trends. A key aspect of the role includes developing and delivering comprehensive reports and designing dynamic dashboards to effectively communicate data insights and enable real-time monitoring of key HR metrics, workforce dynamics and trends. By leveraging advanced data analytics techniques, the incumbent provides expert guidance and support to shape and inform HR strategies and solutions.

$103,100 - $156,400 USD

Job Functions.
- Conducts extensive data analysis and research, demonstrating proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and identifying trends in results. Assists in developing innovative approaches for presenting human capital analysis and reporting.
- Applies advanced analytics techniques, such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and clustering, to uncover insights and patterns within HR data. Using these insights to support strategic workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning initiatives.
- Develops and maintains sophisticated data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide timely and accurate insights into key HR metrics.
- Collaborates with HR and cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver customized analytics solutions that address organizational challenges and opportunities.
- Designs, develops and maintains interactive dashboards, reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
- Identifies and builds processes to automate data and analytics solutions.
- Manipulates and analyzes large data performing quantitative analysis and summarizing the results.
- Uses analytical reasoning to identify problems and develop hypotheses and offer solutions that address organization’s needs.
- Guides internal clients to effectively understand and measure metrics, interpreting data, and translating it into actionable recommendations.
- Recommends tools and technology to address gaps in reporting.
- Employs AI and automation to enhance and optimize data and analytics processes.
- Serves as the subject matter expert on HR data analytics, providing training and support to HR team members on data interpretation and utilization.
- Stays abreast of the latest trends and innovations in HR analytics, continuously seeking ways to enhance data capabilities and drive value.
- Executes data integrity processes and adheres to standard audits.
- Ensures data accuracy and integrity by implementing rigorous data validation and quality control processes.
- Recommends data integrity routines and processes to enhance data quality.
- Identifies opportunities to improve data quality and user experiences by recommending changes in business processes.
- Tracks data-related issues, problems, and performance metrics for historical reporting purposes.
- Develops and maintains data warehouse and HR dashboard user security.
- Establishes security integrity routines to ensure use access compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, information technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with HRIS platforms and data analysis including complex datasets, reporting and trends.
- Knowledge of federal and state (Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin) laws, regulations and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry and Farm Credit.
- Advanced experience in data analysis, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, create reports, and identify trends.
- Proven experience in HR data analytics or related field, with a strong track record of delivering impactful insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools and advanced Excel skills.
- Advanced experience with systems integration, understanding how different HR technologies interact and how to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
- A solid understanding of HR processes and practices, as well as compliance and regulatory requirements related to HR data.
- Strategic and innovative.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
