What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter/Designer Contract Project position at Compellier?
At Smart Batch Systems , we manufacture automated, mobile batch plants for specialty construction contractors. Our team is currently looking for a contract Drafter / Designer with strong SolidWorks skills to create and update parts and assembly models, as well as create detail drawings. Additionally, this person will support the engineering function by furthering the concept development of R&D projects and supporting other documentation needs such as manuals, assembly or maintenance instructions, etc., as assigned. This individual may also be asked to contact vendors, obtain quotes and other support activities. This opportunity is a six-month contract with the possibility to extend.

DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The contractor’s primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of intellectual property used by fabricators, assemblers, operators, and maintenance / repair personnel while strictly adhering to strict design and document control practices. All deliverable content shall match related references throughout the ‘system.’
